Sales Batch Posting Date Grayed Out

I'm running GP 10 and in one company, we cannot change the posting date on sales batches (new or saved ones). The field is grayed out and inaccessible. What causes this? How can I fix it?

Thanks. I'm not sure sure who changed it, but that's what the problem is.

George,

You maybe setup posting date from transaction. If you change to posting date from Batch. It may fix your problem.

Select >> Tools >> Setup >>Posting>>Posting, then select series Sales and Origin Sales Transaction Entry, please make sure to select Posting Date From Batch. Click Save and Click OK.
