Single line Transfer orders for specific items

Is it possible for planning to create single line transfer orders for specific items ?

I wish to move certain items from Warehouse A to Warehouse B without

having to move other items that have been planned on the same Transfer order ?

I'm sorry, but I didn't quite get this.

You got a transfer order with several lines and only want to move some of the items?

Try this. On Site specific order settings on the item and inventory pane. Enter the max or standard qty to what you would like the qty to be. Note that this will also affect production size for the given Site. You might need to go to item coverage to set the qty for the given warehouse.

Yes - I don't understand why you would think otherwise.

The only catch is that all the registered items have to be shipped.

Logically mrp will assume you want orders with the same to and from locations and same due date to be transferred on the same order to reduce administration.

You can always raise a manual order or split a planned order. or combine planned/released orders.

For moving just a few items if there is limited transport time and no need for heavy warehouse processes, then ? use a transfer journal as a simpler option.

Grouping is usually a good idea e.ge to reduce admin or to reduce freight costs- but it means that whoever does that has to have the wider picture of what other users expect to happen and whether the same 'rule' will apply all the time or will vary day by day.

Can this be closed /verified?
