Deriving Insights from guest user and registered user sessions

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are having an amazing day. I've been working with Audience Insights for a while now and got a new request where I gotta match a registered user's website activity when he's logged in as well as when he is not. For instance, a registered user is not logged in and is browsing the content as a guest and later logs on to his account. Can I associate his guest activity and match it with his registered user's activity to get the complete picture ?. If so is it possible to do it with CI by bringing in appropriate analytics data and establishing a relation?

On contrary, can I track an anonymous guest visitor's activity and match it once he registers on the platform to show relevant content/recommendations ?. If so would CI allow it to establish a relationship and match the data?
