Deleting imported data in bulk

Hi,

Apologies for the basic question !

I am using CRM Dynamics 2013 and want to delete some records from my contacts database. However, I want to delete the records by deleting the file I used to import them in the first place. i.e. the file that is located in my data management/import section.

I thought by deleting the source file you could delete all records associated with that source file...is that right? For some reason it is not working on my system.

Kind regards,

There are multiple options available under imports. You can select the file and choose an option which says delete all imported records as well.

I don't seem to have that option, is there a permission or some other setting that needs to be adjusted to show this?

    See below

Try to use admin login if you cant see this option.

    Hi Gavibe,

Please refer the below link which have steps for doing the same, also check whether you have necessary permission for the same or not, try to assign the system admin role.

I think the problem is that the option "All Records Imported to This Entity During This Import" is not available to non-admin users

Is there any way to enable that for normal users?

    Thanks

if you want, delete the data that you have imported then you easily delete the imported records only using the system admin role easily.

Hi Azlan, you can't get this permission unless you are an admin

I think you try by giving all privilege to Data Import, Import Source File and Import Job
