Using report writer in Great Plains 10.

First in Report Definitions you have to uncheck Text Report. That will create a Graphics Report and your Toolbox should say Graphics Report. Then you need to add the graphic ( only .bmp files 32k or less) to the Report Writer Picture Library. To do that you need to save the graphic to the clipboard, then in RW select Pictures under the Resource menu to open the Pictures window. Click New to open the Pictures Definition window. In the Pictures Definition window, name the picture then click in the area below the picture name field (a double line appears around the outer edge of the box) and paste in your graphic.
Then it should be available under the Picture tool from the Toolbox. Then just select the picture from the toolbox and click in repot layout area where you want to position the picture. Easy… LOL
