Approval Workflow with group - notifications

Hi. I configured my custom Workflow approval (using Workflow group of 4 users - all with 'sequence' 1). After send approval request, in 'Notifications entries' are created 4 new records. In 'Approval User Setup' for every user I set the 'Instantly' notification schedule. Unfortunately - neither notification is send. 'Sent notification entries' table is empty. (also with 'Note' and 'Email' notification method).

What is a problem? I need to configure any other setup?

    Hi,

When you setup the Approval workflow, system automatically create Job que for sending the notification. Pls check setup and then check job que setup.

Hi, You can check the Workflow Notifications settings first.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/across-setting-up-workflow-notifications

Then it could also be a problem with the sending mail account.

You can check the Email Outbox for any error messages.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

I checked job que setup - 'There is no error message' for Notification Entry Dispatcher.

I'm working in development environment (via container) - maybe this is a problem?

Problem occurs also with 'Note' notification method - so I think it is not problem with mail configuration.

Hi, you can use the Send Test Email feature to test if the email can be sent.

I know, but I'm working in dev container environment - I think I can't send mails using this type of environment?

Anyway - 'note' notifications also should be send (without mail configurations)?
