Why is the additional medicare tax showing up in box 4 (SS withheld) instead of box 6 (medicare withheld)?

This is controlled in the deduction setup under the W-2 Control tab (the box number setting).
Rick - the W-2 tab is set to Box 6 Additional Medicare Tax but it's still showing up in box 4. I'm at a loss.
It's been a while since I worked with this but I think that if you have the Deduction set up correctly (check in Deduction History choosing the correct year), then it could be that you don't have updates installed. Or, you may not have run W2 calculations again after installing the proper updates or you may have the boxed checked in W2 calculations to protect Edit.
A couple of things to check. First, had you already closed payroll to 2015 before setting to box number on the deduction? If so, the screen edited the calendar year 2016 deduction and not the 2015 deduction and you would have to set the box number for the 2015 deduction using a SQL query. Second, did you recalculate the 2015 W2s after setting the box number?
