Deletion of user in active directory

Hi All,

I have a scenario..

I user left organization. We have removed the license from user. Than delete the user from active directory.

What will be impact of this action.

1. Impact on user's records. It will delete or deactivate or no impact.

2. Any other impact in system like shared record , personal views etc.

please share your experience.

    1. User cannot be logged into CRM anymore. You have to manually deative the user in CRM. You cannot delete users in CRM.

    2. Won't change. You can assign all user records to another user. More on this topic here:

    Hi,

    scenario is:- in our organization Local AD is sync with azure. after disable the user. User is need to disable in AD. after 90 days this users are get deleted from AD. in this scenario what will be the impact in CRM. Is  those users will available in CRM as disable user or they get deleted.

    As I said they will only go deactivated. Users will never get deleted in CRM.

    To expand on Andreas answer here...the user record in CRM will 'never' be deleted.  The reason for this is because even if the user is no longer with the company, if they ever touched any record in CRM then there is data logged showing that.  

    Example:  The User is the 'Created By' for an Account record.  You can't delete that user without messing up the Created By on the record, so the user cannot be deleted.

    The user can be disabled in CRM, but never deleted.
