Create GL journals using SQL

Hi,

We need to generate GL journals using a SQL stored procedure. For various reasons we can not use the standard SL import procedure.

Is there any way that one can create a new module that will be visible in the journal screen and allow us to create our own series of batnbrs in the standard batch table?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
