Audit Workbench: creates the same case multiple times

Hi,

Currently I am using the Audit workbench tool for checking expense reports exceeding a certain amount. for example hotel bill > 300, as a result the Audit workbench creates a case.

Problem:

When I run the Audit workbench in batch mode, there is 1 case that is created every batch run. All the other cases are only generated once regardless of the nr. of batch runs.

Can anyone explain me how this can be fixed?

Have you attempted to create a new case and delete the old one?

Hi Ryan, thank you for your response.

I cannot delete the case since the delete box is grey. I do have full user rights as I am working in a test environment. Maybe this has something to do with the status of the case, which is: 'in process'.

Creating the case manually is not really what I want. I want the audit workbench tool to create the case when a certain policy rule is violated.

Something else: I am also trying to modify the Audit workbench in the AOT (AX 2012). The goal of this is trying to use the audit workbench for other purposes like scanning different documents (different than the standard vendor invoices, expense reports etc.). Since I am a business administration student I do not have experience with programming etc. If you have any further experience with the audit workbench and/or the AOT, I would be very thankful if you want to share some of your knowledge with me. Thanks!

The status of all my audit cases (generated by the audit workbench) is 'in process'. Case 01106 is the last case of a batch job. When I start the batch job manually for several times, the audit workbench creates all the cases again. When I set the 'recurrance' on 5: the first time all the cases are generated, than the other 4 times one case is generated over and over again as you can see below in the picture.

Also, can you share your Dynamics version number?

I don't know where I can find my version number. Actually, I am working with both F&O and AX2012 since the tool is pretty similar in both systems. However, this problem is related to F&O. Maybe it has something to do with the start date? I set this somewhere in 2010 since I want previous documents to be reviewed as well.
