Hi All,
i have createe a custom manager field on user of the same entity user due to hierarchy and notification business asks.
i have created user lookup on User entity named Custom Manager
All the users are assigned on that lookup as Manager
But while sending email to Manager (custom field) via workflow it gives as error as the field is not party or does not exist.
please help for the resolution.

The user used for ownership of Workflow was not having the email ID assigned. Although, the user is not used in email or sending email.
