    Is this a dev/test/prod system?

On dev systems (and onebox test systems that you manage yourself) you can enable it by searching the web for "SQL Server enable change tracking" and following the instructions that you find.

If the change tracking is disabled in Microsoft managed system you need to create a support request and ask them to fix it.

    Hi Nikalaos,

Thanks. I've managed to activate the change tracking now.

However may I ask why the menu is disabled for Customer Invoice Journal Line ?

I'm actually will need to include this in BYOD export and Incremental push, it need change tracking to be enabled ? Any thought ?

    Thanks

Use the available option: "Enable custom query". The first two options works in simple cases, but sometimes a custom query is needed (e.g. to include tables refernces in views or computed columns).

    Hi Martin,

Thanks, I was sceptic at first because if I look into Microsoft Docs, it is mentioned I need to create the query my self -> docs.microsoft.com/.../entity-change-track

But turned out  I just need to select that option. So probably the query already created when the data entity is created ?

    Thanks again.

Yes, the query is already there, prepared by Microsoft. I think that one of the data sources is a view designed in a way that wouldn't work with "Enable entire entity", therefore Microsoft solved it by the custom query.

Please enable change tracking in SQL database
This was set to false for some reason change to true.
