Unable to add step for Update of usersetting's entity on post operation

Hi team,

I am trying to update user's respective bookable resource on change of a field in usersetting's entity. But while registering plugin step in the registration tool for Message: Update, Primary Entity: usersettings, Post operation its throwing error that "Registration of step processing for update and post operation is not permitted". Does any one have idea on this.

When I tried it, I did see the empty warning message pop up but it was registered fine.

Could it be the due to the version of the plugin registration tool? Mine is 9.0.0.9519

Alternatively, you can also create a flow to achieve your bookable resource update logic.

I am working on on-premise 8.2 version. is there any other way

Which plugin registration tool are you using?

If you are using the new one, can you try it with this old plugin registration tool? (and vice versa)

If that's the case, it is better to raise a support ticket with Microsoft.

You can also try registering the plugin steps via SDK instead of using the tool. Refer to the sample codes in the links below and quickly create a console app to register the plugin step on Update of usersettings entity.
