There is no specific official training course that I am aware of.

You should also familiarize yourself with Entity Store (and Data Import eXport Framework since it is based on that), since that is the tool Microsoft has intended for PowerBI report usage, instead of directly querying your AX business database. I have written a quick summary article about it here:
