SQL Server Reporting Services fails on OWN custom reports made D365

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hey Everyone,

I have a fresh D365 Database.

The native reports work fine. They render and load.

When I create my own reports even with native entities such as Contacts when I run Report, it tries for a second and then reports rdProcessingAborted.

When I check the SQL Server Reporting Services service it is using a local system account.

I did set in SSMS the account I thought it was using to allow CRMReaderRole, DBO and Public. But after checking services, it seems this is not the account.

Any ideas please

Thanks

R

    Existing reports run fine.

New reports I create.. even basic.. show me contacts.. and nothing special.. all within D365 reports.. produce the error.

    Please advise
