Good Day -
Thank you for posting your question to the forum. I believe the SQL version tested and supported with MBS Solomon 6.0 was SQL 2000. SQL 2000 put the database compatibility as 80. SQL 2005 puts the compatibility at 90. I do not recall Solomon 6.0 ever tested with SQL 2005 with the DBs kept at compatibility 80, but in theory it could work.
If you are trying to rebuild a prior live environment, or move a production into a virtual environment, it would be strongly suggested to test the configuration before having users start entering live data. There are different calls thought the SL DB that have SQL level specific calls so when testing make sure everything your users need to do can be done and complete without any issue before handing it over to them for their day to day processing.
I hope this helps.
