Visual Studio Report Build

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear Experts,

I can't get my head around. When selecting query list in visual studio it selects wrong AOS instance? I did change the target to correct TEST environment (UAT) where I built my Query for specific report, however when creating a report in Visual Studio and selecting query it gives the query list from different environment where my built query doesn't exist ... any suggestions? Please see file below.

    Hi Suresh,

You are right, it was running under wrong environment, I had to change it and select the right one.

    Hi Ievgen,

Thank you for your quick reply and link provided. It worked like a charm. I missed the last step where the config file had to be saved in privet assemblies running AX configuration.exe file.

    Regards,

    V

    Hi Viesturs Silins,

        Please check your configuration file.

may be your created query in correct instance, but in configuration utility it is selected with different configuration file?

    Thanks

    Suresh
