Can we changed field labels on a view like we can on a form?

I changed the labels on some common fields we use for contacts a on a new form I created.

However when adding these fields to the view they still display with the original names and there is no option to make the labels match what I did on the form.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Open field properties from entity customization and change Display Name of the field. This change will not impact Label you have already changed on the form.

So the problem is that I want the original name of these fields to appear on most of the views, only specific ones I want to have a different label which match the labels I made on the form.

So is there a way I can make the fields on the view match the label of the form without affecting the name of the fields on the rest of my system views?

    Hi Partner:

Unfortunately, It is not possible to change the field label on a certain view.

In your scenario, you just want to show same label like fields on new created forms in one specific view.

If so, you can try to use following steps to achieve it indirectly:

    1. Creating new fields with these changed labels as display name.

    2. Then you can use workflow to populate these values from original fields into new fields automatically.

    3. Add these new fields to the specific view.
