Deleting managed solution

Hi

I imported managed solution (patch) in one of our test environments, relaised some changes and now i want to delete the patch however i am getting dependncies error.

I realised all dependencies are related to new fields and entities. I removed the new fields from the forms (existing old forms) and this removed the error however, i am still left with 2 dependencies for new entities which is required by SDK messaging processing step and SDk Messaging Processing Image.

Not sure how to get rid of these two, i do not want to delete entities in case this cause any problem when i re-import the patch, i also tried to overwrite the patch but that failed.

Thanks

    Hi PS10,

Upgrading a solution installs a new solution layer immediately above the base layer and any existing patches.

Applying solution upgrades involves deleting all existing patches and the base layer.

Solution upgrades will delete components that existed but are no longer included in the upgraded version.

    Hi PS10,

The only option seems to be to remove the reference to the entity,

If you insist on keeping the new entity:

    Hi PS10,

I think that You cannot delete the path,

    You have two solutions :

    1. To import your solution and select update not import a path.

    2. You can use a rollback from Power Platform Admin Center

Please mark the solution as verified if that's helpful for you.
