Smart List Builder "Go To's" for Payroll when you are using next number

Have a whole bunch of SmartList Builder reports for our HR department and want to try and get the go to's to work properly. We are using the HR next number feature which forces the users to have to do a lookup when they want to bring up any Employee ID. I noticed that the GP default lookups for Payroll and HR go through just fine.

So, anybody deal with this and have an answer so that when they are doing "Birthdays this month" or any other SmartList Builder report they can lookup and go to the Employee Maintenance card and not have to then go to the lookup and sort and find the employee they were just looking at in the Smartlist.
