Query or report on system workflows?

Has anyone ever built a SQL query or report on system workflows?

We have workflows configured per entity, for approval of invoices. I need to retrieve the conditions, approval steps, and approvers. This for audit purposes.

What I'm missing is a datamodel, so unsure which tables to get the data from, and how to link them together.

    Thanks for the links and info, this is however not what I am looking for. As far as I can see the SQL shows historical approvals.

    what I need to retrieve is current workflow configuration, with the data as mentioned in my original post. Any help is welcome.

    Note: we have almost 200 entities configured, this is why I am trying to query on all the workflows.

    Got it, A workflow configuration will include record in many tables like WorkflowTable, WorkflowActionTable, WorkflowElementTable, WorkflowVersionTable etc. You would need help from Developer to find relationship in Workflow tables. I can't find any article that can help you.

    Note: You can see all workflow configurations in a legal entity from System Administration-->Workflow-->All workflow configuration
