This is an FYI. I was receiving the following messages when trying to install Management Reporter 2012 for Dynamics SL 2011. My problem was that I was trying to do the install logged in as Administrator. You have to be logged in with the Domain Account that you created to take on the Administrator role for Management Reporter. I'm posting this because I spent a ton of time on other resolutions around these errors below, when I was simply not logged in as the correct user.
System.ServiceModel.EndpointNotFoundException: There was no endpoint listening at http://wccs1:4712/CompanyService.svc that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. ---> System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.1.6:4712.
I do have a displayname for the user I created.
If I just install the application and process services, it will install successfully. When I add the Dynamics SL piece, then I get this error message:
Microsoft.Dynamics.Performance.Reporting.Common.ReportingPermissionException: You don't have permission to perform this operation.
