Deleting items from Audit Summary View

Hello community,

I'm looking for information on the Delete Change History button in the Audit Summary View page. If I filter the results on the page (let's say by Event, Changed By, or Entity) and click on the button, will it delete only the records selected by the filtering criteria? This may seem obvious, but I'd rather have confirmation before trying it myself. I tried to find documentation on it, but couldn't find anything. If anyone can point me to it, I'd appreciate it!

Thank you,

EB

    Hello EB,

I think that Delete Change History button in Audit Summary View will let you delete one log at a time. Please refer the link below to delete logs.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/recover-database-space-deleting-audit-logs

Here is another reference that might help.

    Thank you PG,

Both of those articles refer to the Audit Log Management and deleting a quarterly block of log entries. I'm looking for a more targeted approach, being able to delete records according to certain criteria. I can filter the records in the Audit Summary View page to get to those records. I just need to confirm if the Delete Change History button in that page is going to delete only the filtered results, or do something different. See below:

    Thank you again,

It will delete the entire change history of the Email Record.

    Hello,

I agree with Pankaj. I did some tests and seems to delete the Audit record only. Then, additional records are created to mention the deletion.

    Hope it helps. Regards.

    Yader Morales.
