Hi,
We are having some DIXF jobs failures(D365 F&O) in PROD environment in recent days which used to run without issues earlier. When I looked into into DMF execution log, there is no log or error information on failures.
In other environments, we could go to event log of the machine and see the logs in "Datamanagement" folder. But how to get such error details in PROD which is hosted on LCS?
Thanks in advance !!
You can check the info on the crane form of the UI.
Check the info log on top of the crane form.
Yes. I have tried seeing the info log but there is nothing .
Hi d365Dev
Have you checked all possible logs described in MS Docs docs.microsoft.com/.../data-entities-data-packages? Especially "Staging log" on the top of the execution log form
Also, check if the entity is up to date. Go data management workspace - Entity list - find your entity and press "Modify target mapping" and Generate mapping. After it's done create new data project and re-add your entity and try again.
Hi d365Dev,
Is it related to only exporting of sales orders or all entities? Do you export it using the batch framework?
If you want to view event logs, you can go to the LCS environment page and look at the raw logs available via environment monitoring. docs.microsoft.com/.../monitoring-diagnostics
Hi André ,
These failures are for many entities , in that SO is one of them. All these jobs were running successfully without any issues from past one year and we haven't modified anything recently to these.
Yes , I did go to Environment monitoring from LCS, but the page is always returning me an error, even tried with only few hrs. as filter criteria and batch job names used as key words used in search.
Planning to raise support ticket with MS as I am not able to dig into root cause with the available info.
Did you find any logs in D365FO UI as suggested by others?
No, I couldn't find any from UI or from environment monitoring tool using LCS.
Does it mean that when you click "Infolog" in the Execution log (that we see in your original question), you don't get any info?
Are you aware if there was any update on this environment which could be related? Anyway, if you can't find error details, then indeed in this case it makes sense to create a service request for Microsoft. Probably some services needs to be restarted. Otherwise, they might be able to dig a bit more in the details of your environment.
