Automatic Bank Statement Import

(0) ShareShare

I activated Envestnet/Yodlee Bank Feeds Service. I linked one of my PNC bank accounts to it. Then when I try to import a bank statement feed, I get the following error:

"Cannot setup automatic bank statement import because the selected bank account requires multi-factor authentication".

It is true that I need to use a token device to access my PNC Bank portal. I thought that Yodlee would be able to bypass that, since it recognizes that my account is linked.

What to do?

Normally, I download a .csv file from the bank and manually compare it to my BC bank ledger, within the Reconciliation window. Haven't tried importing that file. Is there a workaround or a bank import service that works?

Sincerely,

Steve Simon

    Hi Steve,

Have you been able to resolve this issue? I am currently facing a similar problem.

I did resolve it then screwed it up again when I implemented AMC Banking. Now I am having trouble implementing the Yodlee application.  the answer to your question probably lies in creating an app password for your Azure Active Directory MFA.  Here is the answer I just received from Marco Mels on this forum:

"Did you enable MFA via a conditional policy in Azure? App passwords generates this way are not compatible with D365 BC / Dyn NAV. If you did, then it must be disabled. If you did not it that way, then go to the user via Office 365 and edit the properties. Go to MFA setup which will redirect you to:

    account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/.../MultifactorVerification.aspx

Select the user and select Manage User Setting and select the three options.

In the Azure AD portal, you can also edit the user and get to the MFA properties. Here you can revoke MFA sessions:

This will allow you to recreate the App password after revoking MFA sessions, etc. It can take up to 30 minutes before the app password do work in MSDyn365 BC.

Let us know how it does go. Thanks.
