PSA Quote/Order Line Details loading issues

Hi,

Quote/Order line details view when adding details to a Project Quote line is not loading properly in Edge or Chrome and a whole bunch of errors occur when switching group by (in the hope of it loading properly)

This was never working properly, but at least I could see the details that had been added if I refreshed the page a couple of times.

But as of today, it's useless! It either shows completely unrelated details (from another quote) or shows nothing at all...

I'm going to contact support but has anyone come across a similar issue, that may have a temp solution?

P.s. adding is not the issue, it the details View that refuses to load properly!

    Hi,

    I am having exactly the same issue. Nothing is displayed in details or if there is something displayed, I see all sorts of details, not the one related to my Quote Line.

    Hi Adrian,

    If you're using Projects, I found that if you add the tasks to Work breakdown and then import from Project in the Quote Line, the totals are correct, I've manually checked a couple of records (including after a change to the default Price List in Chargeability view).

    Hope this helps, I've not had that chat with support yet! :(

    Had word from the support team, they were able to replicate the issue internally and it's already in a request to fix. ETA is within the next few weekly updates, no definite date, but at least it's a known issue.

    Good to hear a fix is in the pipeline.

    This grid has never rendered properly for me on form load (requires a collapse and expand to show), but the issue of it showing all Project Tasks is newer. Not sure why they can't get it right!

    I'm having exactly the same issue as well and had raised with MS support. I was advised that the Service Update 4 for CRM 8.2.1 (release notes available on [View:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4032196/service-update-4-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-8-2-1:750:50]) has got the fix. Waited to my organisation is updated to v8.2.1.271 and nothing seem to have changed after the update.

    I'm raising this again with support and will appreciate if you could share updates from your end as well.

    Hi,

    I'm on v8.2.1.271 and the PSA extension is on v1.2.0.69, no updates yet.

    However I'm counting on this being fix in the upcoming Spring update (July) www.microsoft.com/.../get-ready-for-the-next-release.aspx

    Yep, just to confirm that the issue still persists on latest version of Dynamics 365 Online and latest PSA solution too.

    The problems I've had with the quote line detail sound similar:

    1. Either the details never load and to solve this I end up clicking the + sign to add a line item (and then they appear).

    2. Quote line details from the previous project automatically populate the quote line details and there's no way to delete these. Strangely though they don't affect the amount, but all sorts of other problems eventuate.

    How does this impact me?

    How does this affect me?: During the update, the Portal Management page in the Dynamics 365 Administration Center will be placed in a read-only state for a short period of time.

    If you are using production version of portals, the portal website itself will remain online and accessible. if you are using trial version, your portal website will not be accessible during upgrade.

    What do I need to do to prepare for this change?: You must update your organization’s solution packages.  Until the solution is updated, some enhancements will not be available to portal administrators and/or users.
