How to export more than 100,000 record from the front end

I want to view how many contacts I have in my CE CRM system and analyse the data.
 
E.g. x number of Active/Inactive contacts and then filter the data on certain criteria. 
 
When i export to excel it only exports 100,000 records so i don't know how many there are in total. 
 
I am only able to use the front-end to export, unless there is another easy way to query and export.
