Hi ma'am/sir,

Good day! Is there anyone who can help me identify the difference between Team member and Full user in D365 in terms of licensing? Just a brief self comprehension.

Thank you,

JeromeE

    Hi JeromeE,

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Team Member License is a light weight license to give access to the users of an organisation who are less exposed to the full functionality of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or Unified Operations.

It costs less than Full users SLs, and it lacks many features compared to Full users SLs.

It is important to note that build brand new security role around the Team Member license and assign it to the user. If a Team Member License user is given a security role that exceeds their features limits, this will violate Microsoft Legal Compliance.

Please see the table below for details of features.

    1. This table provides an overview of the Team Members use rights by Customer Engagement, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Retail, and Talent applications.

    2. The following tables lists the use rights corresponding to the User Subscription Licenses (User SLs) and applicable device subscription Licenses available in Customer Engagement Applications.
To configure and administer Dynamics 365 services a full enterprise user license is required (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation).

Note the difference between the Team Members column and the other columns. The other columns represent Full users SLs.

    Hi,

Believe this refer to Enterprise version. Do we have a Comparison for the Business Central version?

    Best Regards,

    Peter Toh
