Dynamics 365 button grayed out in Outlook

Hello,

I have installed Dynamics 365 app for Outlook in the desktop version of Outlook 2016. Everything seems to be working great, except that when I compose a new email, the Dynamics 365 button is grayed out.

The option is available when I create a new appointment, or reply to an email. But it appears gray when I send a message.

The documentation suggests that the button should be available when composing an email.

I'va already tried the solutions given under this post but none is working

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the post I mentionned, Felix gave me the solution : this button is inactive when we sign the email with a digital signature (email certificate). The solution : remove the signature, save the email as a draft, and then reopen the email, the button is active.

If you have signature in the email body then try to turn off and check ..

When you open an e-mail, are these buttons enabled?

Mine are grayed out, but when I open an e-mail, the icons are displayed. The e-mail has to be open for these icons to display since it is giving you options for that e-mail. If you turn on the message pane to see the content, these icons will be visible (Not the message preview). Try it out and let me know if that solves the problem.
