Adding Owner ID to a Case View

HI,

I need to be able to view a Case Owners ID in a Case view that I have created, so not the name of the Owner, but their GUID, is this possible? If so, what is the name of the field, and which related entity is it attached to, I dont see anything when adding columns to the view in the Owner or Owning User related fields.

Thanks
Ted

    Hi,

After some testing, I have found that you can accomplish this with Flow.

The first thing you can do in PowerApps is to add a text field for Guid in the Case table.

Afterwards you can add this field to views and Forms respectively, depending on your personal needs.

I built two Flow, one manually for updating the Guid of all case owners, and the other for automatically updating the Guid of a case owner when it is changed.

The first Flow is as follows:
1.List rows: Iterate through all records of the Cases entity.

    2. Select the case that needs to be changed based on the caseid.

    3. Populate the added Guid field with the value owner_user_id.

The second Flow is as follows:
This is roughly the same as the first Flow, except that in the first step, a trigger is added to trigger the Flow when the owner of the case changes.

After testing my Flow it all works and does what it's supposed to do. You can refer to my Flow design.
