Concept email not tracked with CRM Outlook App

Hi all,

When I create a new email in Outlook and before I send the email, I track the email to CRM with the App integration; this (obviously) will fail.

Then why is the integration giving me the opportunity to track these non-send concept emails? IMHO the Icon should be grayed out; or do I oversee something here?

    Hi Alexander,

    When you create a new email in Outlook and track the email to Dynamics 365 before sending it, the track status goes into a Pending state. This means you can continue to finish writing your email and hit send, and the email will be tracked to Dynamics 365 after it is sent. You can go to Sent Items and open App for Outlook and will be able to see that it is tracked.
