Weighted Average price in planned costing version

Posted on by 118

Hello,

After inventory recalculation, I want to get the average prices calculated in a planned costing version.

The planned costing version for purchased item are based on :

the purchased price (in released products)

or the cost products (also in released productis)

or the trade agreement

but not on the weighted average prices.

So how to do when we want to calculate the cost of finish goods based on the average price  of the raw material (not the current one but the one calculated by a closure) ?

BR,

Karim BELHEDI

    Hi SPX,

Doesn't the recalculation update the cost price if the latest cost price parameter is turned on?

If that is ok, it will be available in the costing version.

In case you open the costing version from the menu item 'costing versions' you won't see that update but if you open it from the individual item you should be able seeing that.

Have you checked that out already?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Luvig,

The inventory valuation method setup for my items are weighted average date.

yes, I have the parameter  the 'latest cost price' active in the released product form but in that field, we fin the latest cost not the average one.

My question is how to transfert the weighted average costs after closure to a planned costs.

    Hello SPX,

What inventory valuation method did you setup for your items (weighted average date, FIFO, standard costs, moving average, etc)?

Do you have the parameter for the 'latest cost price' active in your released product form?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Thank you Hussein.

These posts deal with inventory closure. not planned costs.

I didn't find any way to link inventory closure to planned costing.

exemple: the weighted average cost after closure = 10

    The latest cost = 11.

If I want to put the weighted average cost in a planned cost.

The only way I found is to copy manually the average cost in the cost field of the released products and then to calculate the item price.

I'm asking for the way to make these manipulation automatically.

    BR,

    Karim
