To trigger workflow from Webhook

Hi CRM People,

Hope you are doing great, i have query which is that i have created a custom workflow activity which pulls the data from the client's API as per Account Number where it was included in Out of the box on demand Asynchronous Workflow so i am able to pull the data from their API into CRM system.

Now the thing is that whenever any updation or creation action perform in their web application so i want to trigger a workflow using Webhook.

How should I perform this task ?

Looking forward to hear from you. Or tell me any other way which could be best & will be glad to see any specific link.

    Hello Syed,

    Please find below document about the Official Supported Trigger of Workflow in Dynamics 365.

    For my understanding, what you want is that "any updation or creation action" perform in their web application (which is an application outside CRM) to trigger a workflow.

    If my understanding is correct, you will need to use the CreateRequest and UpdateRequest from the list in the document.  However those are requests of Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.Messages, which means you will need to Create/Update data within CRM to trigger workflow. In another word, whichever type of Webhook you are using, you will need to create/update data WITHIN your CRM to trigger your workflow.
