Printing Attachments along with invoice

Hi All,

I have another requirement of printing attachments alongwith the invoices in Sales and in Purchase orders.

Can that we achieved?if yes I need assistance.

We do have the enhanced email capabilities enabled for all users.but merging the invoice with the pdf and printing the docs together is the challenge.

I posted your question on Twitter, but so far the responses seem to indicate that it is not possible to include attachments as part of BC SaaS Invoice and PO printing.

You could potentially develop a custom extension in AL to do what you want, but I don't know how much effort / cost that would require.

However, there is a product that is specifically designed to do what you have described for other ERP systems. But I think it requires an on-prem server, it will require customizations to the BC reports you want to send, and I don't know if it is compatible with the BC SaaS report printing process. But it is probably worth looking into.

It is called Liaison Messenger EDD, by Liaison Software:

Continia document output also enables some great new features with extra attachments per document or including zip files of related documents. It’s available through appsource on a free trial

You cannot directly print a document and all the related attachments automatically, this is by design.

You can do that with a custom extension that sends to the printer the stream of each document (main document + attachments).

It requires code but it's possible.

Rmember that in SaaS direct printing is actually not supported but you can use the email printing functionality and with that it's quite easy to implement this feature.
