Hi Everyone,

I am practicing for the MB-800 exam. And I got this question on the practice exam from measure up:

The answer was to block the junior and middle salespersons and remove limitations on the senior one.

But, does anyone know how to actually do it in business central?

Should I create customer groups as different dimensions and then somehow set a security filter on permissions?

I can’t find anything regarding customer groups and “segments” doesn’t seem right 🤷‍♀️

Dimension Combination serve the purpose here.

Open Dimension combinations and then navigate to the field as below

Then on clicking you get selection, use Limited

Click OK and then you will see LIMITED on the field.

Now click on LIMITED again and press yes to see the combination of values. There you can block certain combinations, like I have blocked JO and MEDIUM.

Hello,

I want to add to this replay from Bilal that you can set your dimension by Account Type in Dimensions page and you will be sure that all your customers have appropriate dimensions defined.
