Hi

Recently I installed Integration Manager (Dynamics GP Destination Adopters).But when clicked for registration got below message before registration window.

could not create all default application data due to the following error: -Access to the path 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics GP\12.0.0.0' is denied.

Please let me know What is this message? And how to resolve it?

    Issue got resolved by running IM in administrative mode. Because ProgramData is protected by the UAC.

    Hi Amir!

    I have seen this error a few times in which running Integration Manager as Administrator resolves this issue. This is usually caused by UAC. With UAC enabled, Integration Manager cannot create the directory structure and write the default configuration file because the ProgramData directory is protected by the UAC feature.  This results in the 'Access is denied' error message.

    To resolve this problem, start Integration Manager by Right-Clicking on the Integration Manager shortcut and choose "Run as administrator".  This will start Integration Manager using the Administrator access token so the application will have sufficient rights to create the directory structure mentioned in the error message and write the default configuration file.

    Amir,

    Can you please run IM as Admin. Right Click--> Run as Admin and see if you get same kind of error or not.

    If not then permission issue.
