Check document number changes sequence once printed

When I print a batch of checks in Business Central, the document number while I input will stay in sequential order starting at 1, but once I print the checks and the document number changes to the check number, the check numbers don't stay in sequential order, and thus the checks don't print in the order I input them. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it so that they print in the order I input the checks? Thanks!

Hi

Maybe you can use the "Renumber Document Numbers" action before posting the checks.

check the setting on suggest vendor payment as below. If the numbering works ok previously, try to replicate in a testing company or try another batch
