First of all, we are set up to use AMC Banking App, and our Banking is through Natwest
On occasion we are required to make a same day payment to a vendor, possibly on receipt of a pro-forma invoice for example. When our Finance team go to set up this payment it never allows them to use the same date as today in the payment date field. Surely BC must be able to accommodate same day payments?
Additionally, we are also finding that when we enter in a future payment date onto BC it automatically adds two days on. It's as if it knows that a BACS payment takes a few days to land in the recipients account? When we key in the date, that's the date we want it to leave our account, we don't need it to anticipate and add on further days.
If anyone has experienced either of these things and has any solutions we'd be very grateful.
