    RE: DATABASE

This is performed by the Solomon / Dynamics SL Database Maintenance function.  Depending on which version of Solomon / SL you are using, that function is either off of the programs menu (version 6.5) or under Windows Administration (version 7.0 and 2011).  You have to be an admin user to run this and may have to have SQL Server SA credentials depending on what authentication type you are using.

Next, you have to decide if you are adding another application database off of the current system database or if you want to set up a whole new system / application database pair.  Since you have not been specific on any of this, I am hesitant to provide any more detail.  This is really something you should work out with your Microsoft Dynamics register partner (assuming you are an end-user) as the process involves several steps and they must be completed correctly.  All of this is covered in the Solomon / Dynamics SL installation guide but care needs to be taken so that you do not adversely affect your current database(s).
