Updating/Inputting custom attribute for 500k existing contacts

We have a custom "Cluster" field for our contacts - it's a text field

Currently I have a spreadsheet with 400k+ contact ids and their corresponding Cluster. What's the best/most efficient way to input/update the Cluster for these contacts

Right now, the only thing I can think of is to somehow find a way to pull out these 400k specific contact ids (not sure how I would do this?), export them 100k at a time, update this field and re-import them. But I feel like there has to be a more efficient way to do that.

Thanks,

Trevor

    Hello Trevor,

I would highly recommend trying SSIS + KingsWaySoft toolkit it would require installing and mastering VS/SSIS but that will help you easily manipulate the data.
