Has anyone used Schedule B for Items?

We've been using 3rd-party software to prepare documents for international shipping.  The problem is we have to do double-entry all the time.  I'm working on the GP integration.  I wonder if anyone has done this and what table/field should this Sch B be stored?

Thank you.

Please drop an email to discuss. We have done several 3rd part apps integrations to reduse double entry systems.

How are you integrating the data? From your post, it looks like you are writing directly to the tables...

I really cannot advise you strongly enough not to go down this road - unless it is very basic.

Can you describe wha data you are integrating? - What data is required on the schedule B?

    Best regards,

My post didn't go through last time.  I try again.

    It's a simple 12 character string, ie 0000.00.0000

Hi, if this value needs to be stored at an item record level, you could place it in one of the user defined fields available in Inventory Maintenance. - Cards >> Inventory >> Item - call up an item and click on the 'Options' button. In the bottom right hand corner of the window that opens you will see 6 user definable fields.

(If any of these are greyed out, go to Tools >> Setup >> Inventory >> Inventory Control....top right hand corner of this window, you can define the field names - once given a name, they will be activated on the Item Maintennce window)

The values in these fields are stored in table IV00101, in fields USCATVLS_1, USCATVLS_2, UCCATVLS_3 etc.

    Best regards,

Depending on the number of fields you need, you should look at Extender.  The Inventory Option fields only allow the selection of data from predefined lists.  If you have other types of fields, you need Extender windows tied to the inventory item.
