There are no absence journal for employee in status Created or Rejected AX2012R3

Hi all,

This is probably something simple but I cannot get it to run.

I am trying to transfer a simple workers' registration day with an 30min absence but i does not allow me since "there are no absence journal for the employee".

so I tried creating the journals on H&R->Periodic->absence as mentioned here but the error is still showing.

I don't know what I am missing. Here I leave an snip of the registrations

As always your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Ludwig,

    thanks for replying. I actually remember setting this by using this exactly helpful blog.

    I have a basic setup to only register automatically only one absence code (late)

    where are these absence journals stored by the way?, where is the number sequence handling this journals?, I honestly no have clue where to look.

    What AX2012 version do you operate?

    If you run an older one, check out LCS first to ensure that you did not run into a bug.

    AX2012R3CU11.

    Now I can transfer the absence with the "Transfer absence to Human Resources" unchecked on H&R->Time and Attendance Parameters.  for me that is enough.

    but Actually I don't know the difference of that functionality. And if that can affect something in future
