Hi,

I'm just enquiring about the Education Accelerator from a Faculty standpoint. I work as an analyst for a third level institution, we already use Dynamics very successfully for our Student records.

However we have a very large Faculty database that is currently managed in a very complex Excel file which we would like to manage in Dynamics. We need to be able to keep a record of faculty members qualifications, payments, time management and a number of other records.

Does anyone have any experience of something similar with the accelerator? Is it a good Faculty management system or would we just need to create a number of new entities related to Faculty related to our current solution?

I think of Dynamics as being able to house any sort of process/relational database, so it can work well for faculty tracking (we are implementing it for instructors to schedule classes and house their skills). You probably will need to make a handful on new tables and relationships to keep things separate from students (assuming they use contacts).
