Hello,
After creating a movement work journal would it be possible to Export to Excel (I have done this), make the changes and then upload it back to the same form? and then create and post the work? I am trying to do about 40-50 lines.
Hi Clukesh,
Checked. The OOB feature can not do that and you need to create a new entity to import the lines.

QianQW
This is possible through the excel add-in feature, if you have the add in feature enabled with your data. Go to the journal lines and press the Open in Microsoft office button,
Once it gets exported with the lines, you establish the connection with D365. The lines will be imported to the excel, you change or update the line items and export it back to the system.
The journal lines will be updated in the D365.
For more information about excel add-in see this blog, https://gfeaxblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/06/how-to-import-data-into-o365-through-excel-add-in/

and you can create your own template and get it added to the Open in Excel menu.
