Hi John, close, but simpler than GP. The page is called Printer Selections. There you say which report goes to which printer, per user, or blank user for everybody. That's all the criteria there is, user and report, nothing based on the data like customer or location.
The tray is not on that page, it sits on the printer itself. In Printer Management every printer has its settings, paper size, orientation and paper tray. So the trick is to add the same physical printer two or three times under different names, one per tray, for example Invoices Tray 2 and Checks Tray 3. Then in Printer Selections point each report to the right one. Works fine, from what's seen at clients.
In BC online this needs Universal Print, or email printing, because the cloud doesn't see local printers. With email printers the tray setting is more hit and miss, depends what the printer does with the mail. On-prem it sees the Windows printers of the server directly.
Anything more clever, like tray by document type inside one report, is development.
Glad to help - follow up if anything is unclear.
► If this solved it, marking it verified helps others too.
