Hi,
I want to build Org Chart (image) into CRM with requests:

pastedimage1624526371696v2.png
Staff A creates 01 record contact "AAA".
--> The following positions can see "Contact AAA" information: Leader #01, 03 person - Admin and Manger #01.
--> The following positions can't see "Contact AAA" information: Leader #02, Leader #03.
--> All positions of "Business Dept. #02" can't see data "Contact AAA"
--> The "Manager #01" can see all data created by users of the "Business Dept. #01" and can't see any data of "Business Dept. #02”.

I have the same question (0)

Dynamics supports Organizational Units (OU's) including nested (which your diagram depicts) and you can assign security roles as well as fields for those roles to achive what your diagram shows.

    Thank Lorne Rogers,

I know Dynamics CRM have tool support for setup BU, security role and Team.

But this case, in the 01 business units, I don't know setup security role for positions of business dept. #01 (exclude "Staff" position).

    Detail:

Staff A owns the record Contact "AAA" --> Staff A have privileges "User" in Contact entity.

If "Leader" and "Admin" security role have full privileges "Local" in Contact entity

--> All user have roles "Leader" (Leader of 2 Business Dept. #01 + #02) can see record Contact "AAA".

--> This wrong for request which your diagram depicts.

Struggling a bit in terms of language but let me iterate what I THINK you're saying and then you can tell us what I got wrong :

    -You've created OU's for Business Dept's 01 and 02.

-You've created roles for Manager 01 and 02

-You've created roles for Admin 01 and 02 (which would seem to have the same access as the Managers)

-Each staff member has a role (staff A-F)

-Contact records are owned by each staff member individually

You want to insert a layer between the staff members and the admin/manager role (since your diagram depicts a 1:1 relationship, I see them as a single role) you are calling "Leader" which have a 1:1 relationship to the staff member (ex. "Staff A" belongs to "Leader 01" and "Staff B" belongs to "Leader 02"). That's what I think I understand from your diagram.  Is that correct so far?

If that is correct, you want to make sure that no one from the Dep't 02 tree can see any records belonging to any staff members in the Dep't 01 tree.  Is that correct?
