Adding additional field to Integration Table Mapping

Posted on by 15

Hi guys,

I am facing the following situation: I need to set up the integration between Dynamics CRM and Business Central. Regarding the built-in integrations everything is fine, the contacts, customers etc. integrate well between the two systems, however I need to integrate extra field (BC Customer No. field to the Account Number field of the CRM Account entity, similar to this: https://community.dynamics.com/business/f/dynamics-365-business-central-forum/359389/how-to-add-custom-field-mapping-between-in-business-central-between-business-central-and-dynamics-crm).

My problem with that is, that I cannot add additional fields to the Integration Table Mappings Field mapping table.
I found some solution (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/administration/administration-custom-cds-integration) which involves programming an extension in AL, however, I would very much appreciate if there would be a simpler solution for that.

Do you know maybe one?
Thanks and all the bests!

    This is the correct link or you can remove ')' from the last

    docs.microsoft.com/.../administration-custom-cds-integration

    hell, I encounter same problem, but unfortunately the given link with the solution does not work anymore :

    docs.microsoft.com/.../administration-custom-cds-integration) => 404 - Page not found

    is it possible to get the solution on another link ?

    Hi,

    thanks for your reply! Is the documentation I linked above (docs.microsoft.com/.../administration-custom-cds-integration) the valid solution then?

    I just would like to avoid unnecessary work and start with the right solution! :)

    Thank you!
