455Background information:
- Inventory Control - user category #2 is my commodity code.
- Item #'s contain either a dash and a plus sign or a dash, plus sign, and parenthesis
I created a basic SmartList from the Item Quantities SmartList where I search for any item where the commodity code is blank. I have 2 items showing up on this SmartList that shouldn't - they do have a commodity code assigned. I suspect part of the reason is due to the way the SmartList displays the items with special characters.
For the first item # 4931T123-(5Y)+C, the SmartList displays the item number without the parenthesis 4931T123-5Y+C so when I double click the item, it cannot be found in the Item Quantities screen. The second item , MS111-1+C, there is a space in front of the plus sign on the SmartList MS111-1 +C so it also cannot be found in the Item Quantities screen when I double click on it.
Has anyone else seen this strange behavior? Any thoughts on how to resolve?
