Main Account Period Balance wrong

Hi all,

The period balance for the main account is wrong,

what is see is on 30/05/2016 closing balance is 627

and the opening balance of 01/06/2016 is double the amount which is 1254.

I am not sure why this is doubled. If i am not wrong it should be 627.

Please let me what and where to check this issue.

    Hello Rusty Ryan,

    Do you know if the year-end closing process has been run multiple times?

    Can you share the parameters that you see in the opening transactions form in GL? (General ledger/Periodic/Fiscal year close)

    If you have a demo/test system available can you try processing the year-end closing process again with a different voucher number setup in the voucher number field of the opening transactions form? If the parameter 'delete close of the year transaction during transfer' is active, this should remove any duplicates. (Please note that the parameters that you see on top of the opening transactions form can be setup in the GL parameters form).
