Shop Floor Control - Incorrectly calculating the Price/Hour Rate - Paid Time Off (1/2/ Day Vacation)

If a worker doesn't work the full day, but is paid for his time off, the paid time off calculates at the correct labor rate for the employee, however all of the other activities for the day list an incorrect labor rate. In most instances, the labor rate is 1/2 the actual employee labor rate, but not always. Is this a bug in AX 2009 with a hotfix, or is this a shop floor setup issue?

If they work a full day is the rate correct. Is the incorrect rate when paid time off is calculated the paid off rate, the standard rate or another random rate and if so which one? You say it is half rate but not always - what are the differences when it is not half? I presume this is an area free from customizations? I presume this is standard production and not project related.

I would suggest you search LCS for the hotfix, although it is quite an old product now :-)

If the employee works a full day, then the rate is correct. It is the employees hourly rate in the system. There are no customizations in this area and it is in the standard production area. It appears AX is calculating the hourly rate as (Employee Rate * actual Hours Worked / Total Hours), the hourly rate should just be the Employee's hourly rate.

I dont know, I would guess that it is by design, although you would need to log it with MS. I dont have a SFDC AX2009 system to check so unless someone else has and can verify your best bet is to check for hotfixes and load it with MS.
